Dear Diocese of Paterson clergy, religious and parishioners, 

On behalf of the entire Catholic Charities Family, I extend my sincerest gratitude for your incredible participation and support of the Catholic Charities 13th Annual Corpus Christi Food Drive. 

Every year, outstanding support enables us to collect thousands of pounds of food for our three food pantries: Fr. English in Paterson, Hope House in Dover, and Partnership for Social Services in Franklin. This tremendous achievement will carry us through the challenging summer months, providing sustenance for children who lack school lunches and meals for families in desperate need of help. 

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Bishop Sweeney and Rev. Msgr. Mark Condon for their exemplary leadership and unwavering support. Special thanks go to Deacon William Ruane and the dedicated deacons of the Diocese, who generously volunteer their time to sort the food. We also extend our gratitude to our Corpus Christi Food Drive committee, our selfless volunteers, and the committed staff members of our food pantries, led by Carlos Roldan. 

As Bishop Sweeney writes, "All are invited to participate in a powerful week of faith and service that beautifully connects two sacred celebrations. The 13th Annual Corpus Christi Food Drive on June 6-7, 2026 asks parishioners to bring the Body of Christ they receive in the Eucharist into the world by feeding our hungry neighbors through donations to Catholic Charities food pantries. Just days later, on June 11, 2026, as our nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, honoring Christ's burning love for all humanity, especially the poor and vulnerable.
