After a long search, we are grateful to have found this new home and extend our sincere thanks to all who contributed to our capital campaign, making this milestone possible for our residents. The spirit of DPD continues to flourish and grow.
Murray House is a proud pioneer and a symbol of dignity in care for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, having become the first of its kind in New Jersey when it opened its doors in 1971.
As the people we serve age, so too does our ability to serve when combating environmental issues like stairs, accessible doorways, entrances and bathrooms. We have been trying to re-locate Murray house for a few years now because it is a four-story home and what is needed is a ranch style home where the people we serve can age in place.
