Reina Rivas, LCSW, LCADC, SHRM-CP is the Catholic Charities Assistant Director of Human Resources since 2018. She has been with the agency for more than 23 years and prior to taking the position of CC-Human Resources, Assistant Director; Ms. Rivas was the Straight and Narrow, inc. HR Director  prior to transferring to Catholic Charities and have managed prevention, residential, and outpatient programs at Straight and Narrow for more than 20 years.

Ms. Rivas received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Montclair State University and a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University. She is licensed as a Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor by the state of New Jersey. Ms. Rivas has also completed post-master’s certificate programs on Leadership and Executive Management for not-for-profit organizations at NYU and Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a current member of the Society for Human Resources Management and a Certified HR professional. Ms. Rivas, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, also completed Catholic Charities USA Leadership Training Program.
